1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using powerrebate.com.au, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The service

powerrebate.com.au is a free matching service operated by PowerRebate (ABN XX XXX XXX XXX). We connect you with SAA-accredited installers who can supply and install home battery systems under the Cheaper Home Batteries program.

We may receive a referral fee from installers and/or finance providers when you use our service. You pay nothing for this service.

3. Estimates and calculations

The savings figures shown after you complete the eligibility form are estimates based on your bill amount, postcode, property type, and solar setup. They use average consumption profiles, indicative electricity tariffs, and assumed annual price rises.

Rebate calculations are based on current Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) values (approximately $37 per STC at 8.4 STCs per kWh). The dollar value of your rebate depends on the STC market price at the time your system is installed and may differ from the estimate shown.

Your installer will provide a personalised quote. The figures shown on this site are not a quote, guarantee, or recommendation to purchase.

4. Finance disclosure

PowerRebate does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or an Australian Credit Licence (ACL). Nothing on this site constitutes financial advice, credit advice, or a recommendation to enter into any financial arrangement.

If you select $0 upfront financing, the employment and income details you provide are used for indicative pre-qualification only. They do not constitute a finance application or approval. Final finance terms, interest rates, and eligibility are determined by the finance provider after a full credit assessment.

We connect you with installers (some of whom arrange finance directly) and, separately, with finance providers. Any finance arrangement is between you and the finance provider.

5. Your personal information

By submitting your name, phone number, email, and property details, you consent to powerrebate.com.au sharing this information with one or more accredited installers in your area for the purpose of providing you with a battery installation quote.

6. Installer contact

When you submit your details, an accredited installer will aim to contact you within 24 hours during business days. This is a target, not a guarantee. Contact times may vary based on installer availability and your location.

7. Limitation of liability

powerrebate.com.auand its operators are not responsible for the quality, pricing, or timeliness of any installer's work, nor for any financial decision you make based on the estimates provided on this site. All information is provided as-is and you use it at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PowerRebate excludes all warranties, representations, and guarantees (whether express, implied, or statutory) in relation to the site and its content.

8. Intellectual property

All content on powerrebate.com.au, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by PowerRebate or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

9. Changes to these terms
