We are a free matching service that connects Australian homeowners with SAA-accredited battery installers participating in the Cheaper Home Batteries program. Installers and finance providers pay us a referral fee. You pay nothing.

  • Browser type, device, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time on site, and referral source
  • Cookies and tracking pixels (see section 5)

3. Why we collect it

  • Match you with an installer: We share your details with one or more accredited installers in your area so they can provide a battery installation quote.
  • Finance pre-qualification: If you request $0 upfront options, we share your employment and income details with finance providers for indicative pre-qualification only. This is not a finance application or approval.
  • Personalised estimate: Your bill, postcode, and solar details let us calculate an indicative savings estimate.
  • Improve the site: Analytics data helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve the experience.
  • Advertising: Conversion tracking helps us measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people looking for battery rebates.
